IIn our research and preparation for our trip to Poland, which included a visit to both Warsaw and Krakow, we learned about Polish Milk Bars. Known as Bar mleczny in Polish, milk bars originated in the late 1800s as government subsidized eateries for workers and they flourished after World War I and then again after World War II.
As soon as we stepped off the plane in Cairo, you could argue that our experience of Cairo had begun. We immediately felt we were in a new place; the people, the culture, and the history of Cairo are so different from the other places we’ve been to in our current travels.

There are so many ways to experience a place. The culture, the attractions, the people…and the food. Since we want to fully immerse ourselves in a place and have as complete of an experience as possible, we’re trying some of the traditional food in each region we visit.
We’re extreme. So, saving money on food while traveling (or not traveling for that matter) is a task we take very seriously.

Sitting down to write this post is somewhat challenging. We want to share our experiences in Ireland, yet aren’t fully sure we can express them adequately.
